Garbage trucks are essential for sanitation companies to transport wastes to recycling centers or to some other places. These trucks come in different configurations to suit various purposes. They are unique in nature and they can be used for limited purposes only. Due to their unique nature, they are highly expensive. However any banks or traditional financial institutions would not be willing to finance garbage trucks. Hence a specialized financing company that has experience in various types of equipment is required to seek garbage truck financing.
There are different types of new and used garbage trucks for sale to dispose different types of wastes. Front loader truck is a garbage truck which has fork like structure at its front. These forks help lifting the garbage bin to deposit wastes inside the container in the truck. The truck can contain large portions of wastes since they compress them tightly inside the container.
Rear loader truck is yet another garbage truck that can carry wastes at its rear side. The wastes need to be dumped by the service workers. It is the largest form of garbage trucks used in many places. They are expensive and so the sanitation companies need to go for garbage truck financing.
Roll off truck performs the same function of other garbage trucks. Additionally it has the capacity to raise their bed and roll off the container on the unloading area. At the same time, another container would be put on the truck to accept another load of wastes. Due to this special nature, the truck carries a high price tag. Hence companies prefer garbage truck financing to acquire it.
Grapple truck is another type of garbage truck which has the ability to haul heavy wastes. It has a grappling arm to lift the bulk wastes and it can also lift and empty the garbage bins. The truck is rugged and strong and so it is much costlier. Traditional financial institutions would not be ready to finance these trucks. Hence seeking the help of some other legitimate financing company that has good experience in the field is essential for garbage truck financing.
Recycling truck also performs the same function of other garbage trucks. But they accept specialized wastes like glass, asphalt, plastic, paper etc and transport them to recycling centers. Recycling new or used trucks are extremely expensive and so most of the companies prefer seeking finance to acquire these garbage trucks.
Side loader trucks are another type of garbage trucks that accept wastes in sides. They are built with special narrow design in order to carry wastes in residential areas and even within buildings like warehouses.

Are you planning to travel to New Zealand in your forthcoming holidays, but are not sure which travel agent to use or package to buy? Why not make your own travel plan, and not rely on someone else’s pre-planned trip? Since New Zealand abounds in natural beauty, you cannot experience it properly if you only visit certain select places and tourist spots. A better idea is to rent a new or used motorhome and explore the natural beauty of New Zealand at your own convenience. While traveling in a motorhome, you are sure to feel a lot of freedom. At the same time, you can take the trip to your own chosen places of interest in style and comfort.
However, campervans and motorhomes come in a wide range of shapes, designs and features and thus, you are likely to be a bit confused as to which one will be the best for you. So, for first timers, there are some considerations which you need to take care of before you opt for motorhome rental in New Zealand. Firstly, the motorhomes come in different berth sizes, ranging from a two berth to a six berth motorhome. Essentially, a double bed is equivalent to a two berth van. So, depending upon the number of travelers, you can select your campervan accordingly.
Secondly, you also need to consider the facilities that you will need during your trip. Mostly, the new or used campervans for sale come with features such as a shower, toilet, heating, cooker, fridge, sink, crockery and cutlery and heating. Apart from this the other provisions may also include a TV, CD and DVD player and other recreational facilities. Also, if you plan to go and stay at well equipped campsites then you may not require a toilet or shower. But, if you want to camp at more basic sites, you will need these facilities. So, depending upon your needs, you can select the appropriate motorhome to rent for your New Zealand trip.
You also need to keep your budget in mind. While some of the newer campervans are expensive to rent out, other older models and brands might be less expensive. So, depending upon your travel budget, you can select and go for a pricing option that suits your New Zealand budget.
Although there are a large number of companies that offer Class A, Class B, Class C motorhomes for rent, the one to go for is the company that provides reliable, well serviced campervans at cost effective prices. Many also provide online booking and have a fleet of vans to choose from. So, why are you waiting? Take a luxurious and comfortable trip through the picturesque beauty of New Zealand.

In response to the Dodge Charger cutting into its sales, the 2008 Dodge Magnum adopts some of its stylistic features, particularly for its performance-oriented SRT-8. The hopped-up wagon gets even more aggressive in the front end, with a lowered grille, additional chrome elements, and sleeker, narrower headlamps. The SRT-8 adopts the large hood scoop straight from the Charger.
The powerful exterior’s bulk is complemented by one of four powerful engine choices. Base SE models feature a 2.7-liter, 190-hp V6, and as you move up through SXT and R/T, you can choose from a 2.5-liter, 250-hp V6 or a 5.4-liter, 340-hp Hemi V8. The sportiest trim, the SRT-8, hits 0-60 in less than five seconds with its 6.1-liter, 425-hp Hemi V8. This V8 is also the first in North America to feature cylinder deactivation for improved fuel economy. Transmission choices are either a 4-speed automatic or a 5-speed automatic with manual mode. Rear-wheel drive is standard, though AWD is available for the SXT and R/T.
Interior updates for this new luxury car include a restyled dash and extra chrome trim (or more carbon fiber trim in the SRT-8). A new radio sports MyGIG and an optional iPod hookup. Another new option is satellite TV. On the safety side, seat-mounted airbags join the front and front-side ones, and a tire monitor is standard on all trims. Base models start with 17-inch tires, full power features, and a CD player. The SXT adds a power driver’s seat and more safety features, such as ABS brakes and traction and stability control. The more performance-oriented R/T offers larger wheels, larger brakes, dual exhaust pipes, and leather seats.
Don’t forget that the powerful 2008 Magnum also serves as a functional family wagon, with plenty of interior space, front and rear cupholders, and rear seats that split-fold flat for extra cargo space. The roofline is angled upward so that the rear seats can be placed stadium style, and the cargo area comes with a removable cooler and storage pockets. It represents a nice compromise for parents who need the functionality of a wagon, but crave the performance of the smaller, sportier Charger.

According to “the New Piper Aircraft company, headquartered in Vero Beach, FL, they have a 70 year history of developing and manufacturing aircraft, with more than 144,000 Piper airplanes brought to market and more than 160 models certified. An estimated 90,000 of those Piper airplanes are still flying and being serviced and supported on every continent by Piper’s 65 service centers, 40 dealers and 2,500 field personnel.
Today, Piper is the only general aviation manufacturer to build and offer aircraft for every general aviation mission, from trainers and high-performance aircraft for personal and business use, to turbine-powered business aircraft … and now, the Piper Jet. When Mr. Piper introduced the Piper Cub in 1937, he had a dream. He felt that everyone should fly. And he believed that Piper Jet could provide everyone with that freedom.
The PiperJet from the New Piper Aircraft company is an exciting new entry into the very light jet market, although it can be considered for the personal light jet category. The PiperJet was officially announced at the 2006 NBAA show in October of 2006. One of the most significant features of this Piper Jet is the cabin space, with 293 cubic feet it is the largest cabin in both the very light jet and personal light jet classes.
One of the main differences of the Piper Jet in comparison with other very light jets is the fact that it will be a single-jet engine aircraft. Although the PiperJet is still in development we do know that it will have an impressive range of 1,300 nm; which means the PiperJet can travel transcontinental with just one refueling stop.
This Piper plane represents the next generation of quality Piper aircraft with over 70 years of aircraft development of production experience behind it, and over 90,000 Piper airplanes still flying today. The New Piper Aircraft Company is expected to start deliveries of the PiperJet in 2010.

Detroit, or the world, has never produced an automobile that rivals the muscle cars of the 1960’s and early 1970’s. They were big, powerful and wonderfully unrefined. No one would call them sports car in the traditional sense. They were not nimble and curves were dangerous at most any speed. However, what they lacked in sophistication they made up for in brut force. In many ways the GTO’s, Ford Mustangs, Road Runners and their brethren represented the American character better than any vehicle past or present. Simplicity, dependability, strength and singularity of purpose were their calling cards. No one could confuse the purpose of these beasts. It was plain for all, and it was straight-line performance for one quarter of a mile. Nothing else mattered.
Contrast that with today and the lore of days past becomes even more apparent. A new Corvette will defeat even the most powerful old Corvette. The current generation of performance cars thumps the muscle car in safety, comfort, reliability and, yes, performance. But, that does not tell the whole story and it doesn’t explain the current interest in and corresponding sky rocketing values of classic muscle cars. The clarity of purpose these super cars exuberated just feels good. It awakens the cave man in each of us! These automobiles have a particular hold on the generation that came of age in the late 1960’s. Many feel that this is their last chance to re-live their youth and they are willing to pay for the opportunity.
The investor in muscle cars must consider a few very important points. First, all investments have risks. This market, like real estate or technology stocks, could fall as fast as it has risen. Second, unlike stocks and money market investments, muscle cars do not pay dividends or interest. Indeed, they cost money to maintain, store and restore. Third, rarity matters. As the numbers above show, the rarest muscle cars have preformed the best. Finally, get a second opinion when considering a classic muscle car. Mechanics are a good choice and a mechanic that has actually restored a few cars is the best choice. Nothing beats experience.
Obviously, one of the most important variables to consider when considering muscle cars as an investment is the condition. Only the most original and accurately restored examples fetch these prices. More common versions or cars in lower conditions will sell for significantly less. For the collector that actually wants to drive their cars regularly these more common versions may actually be a better value.

Caterpillar’s D7E crawler dozer is the first electrically driven dozer using modern alternating-current (AC) technology, and Cat claims it will move up to 25 percent more material per gallon of fuel than the D7R Series II. The drive system takes advantage of today’s small, less-costly semiconductors that can rectify heavy-duty-drive voltage to AC, eliminating brushes. The drive is developed by Caterpillar specifically for crawler loaders.
A 235-horsepower Cat C9.3 diesel drives a generator to produce electricity that runs to a power module where it is inverted to AC current. The current powers two AC drive motors arranged in series, which drives a differential steering system much like that used on other Caterpillar equipments.
The electric drive train has 60 percent fewer moving parts than the drive in previous D7s. And because power flows from the generator to the electric drives through cables, rather than a hard drive shaft, the tractor’s heaviest components can be positioned optimally in the frame for ideal machine balance.
The C9.3 engine is smaller and achieves rated power at 1,700 rpm, compared to the D7R’s 240-horsepower Cat 3176. Smaller displacement is responsible for some of the up-to-20-percent fuel savings, but the biggest efficiency gains come from eliminating the torque converter and keeping the engine running in a much more narrow range of speeds.
The 3176 diesel coupled to a powershift transmission in the D7R normally operates in a speed range from 1,200 to 2,100 rpm, whereas the C9 and electric drive operates more efficiently near peak torque, staying between 1,450 and 1,700 rpm, according to Mike Betz, Caterpillar engineering manager for track-type tractors.
Electric drive eliminates gear shifting, and is said to perform much like a hydrostatic drive, albeit with a much faster response to load demands. Electric-over-hydraulic joysticks control propulsion and blade. Steering performance is improved 50 percent, partly due to use of a dedicated steering pump equal to that used in the D8’s differential steering system. With no mechanical link between the D10-sized final drives and the electric motors’ refined power, the D7E can lock one track for pivot turns, and even counter-rotate to turn within a diameter no greater than the machine’s overall length.
Efficiency is also gained by eliminating parasitic engine load. There are no belts on the D7E’s engine. The cooling fan is powered by a thermostatically controlled hydraulic motor. (The generator, inverter, and electric motors are liquid cooled.) Twenty-four-volt current is drawn from the generator and diverted to run the water pump, charge the batteries, and power the self-contained air conditioning unit mounted on the cab roof.
The D7E is expected to be commercially available in 2009. Caterpillar intends to replace the R model in North America with the electric-drive innovation.Cat believes the greatest opportunities for spreading its newly developed electric-drive technology are on hard-pulling machines that currently use a torque converter. The minds behind the technology hint that there is enormous potential to add batteries (as they improve) and energy regeneration systems to an electric drive train and create ultra-low-emissions hybrid earthmovers in the future.

Ford has been producing a dependable array of pickup trucks at reasonable prices for over 60 years. You’d have to say the Ford truck in one of the mainstays of American highways and byways, with literally millions on the road during this time.
And we happen to be fans. The Ford F-150 XL, for example, is not only a reliable workhorse, but is equally appropriate for a night out on the town. It’s been the most popular vehicle sold in the U.S. nearly every year in the past 30.
It’s simply a vehicle with excellent ride and handling characteristics while still providing attractive and functional interiors with plenty of features.

The Ford Ranger has also achieved longstanding success due to its compact size and excellent off-road capabilities. With its strong record of reliability, wide choice of body styles and trims, and attractive pricing, the Ranger makes a solid choice as a used truck purchase.
And then there’s the Explorer Sport Trac, somewhere between a truck and an SUV. This specialized vehicle really offers the best of both worlds … it has the cargo hauling ability of a pickup coupled with the interior comfort of an SUV.

The class B was born in the 1970’s when the RV industry decided to classify folding campers as a new motor home type. This worked because vans were versatile, compact, economical to drive, and easy to convert.
Production of Class B motor homes doubled from 9,000 in 1971 to 23,000 by 1972. The fuel shortage of the early 1970s may have contributed to this increase because by 1977, over 40,000 had been built. Over the years, more choices of other RV types and a manufacturing trend toward bigger new RVs brought a drastic decline in the production of the Class Bs. As of 1996, 16 manufacturers built as few as 4,100 Class B motor homes, and their numbers have continued to dwindle along with the number of manufacturers building them.
Today’s Class B motor home is a modified, full-sized Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, or Dodge van. Conveniences include: sleeping, kitchen, toilet facilities, 120-volt hookup, freshwater storage, and city water hookup. Most have a top extension to provide more headroom.
Class B motor homes have sleeping space for two, though some can accommodate up to four people. They are best suited for short trips and do not work well for snowbirding or fulltiming. Much of their appeal is economy, maneuverability, and safety - and the fact that they drive more like the family car than a truck. Over the years the design of the class B motor home has evolved from a rough, homemade look to a polished, sophisticated, and aerodynamic design, giving the consumer a highly improved product.
